Talk about pros and cons of living alone.

 

Most people decide to live alone to shorten their commute, if they live too far away from their office or school.

Some live alone because of their spirit of independence, or because they want a freer lifestyle.

They look for homes through real estate agents, and sign a lease.

Living alone allows people to live freely.

However, they have to be responsible for things like eating, cleaning, doing the laundry and paying the bills.

They have to work hard to maintain their quality of life.

집에서 회사나 학교까지의 거리가 너무 멀면 통근 시간을 단축시키기 위해 많은 사람들이 자취를 결심하게 된다.

독립심 때문에 혹은 더 자유로운 생활을 원해서 자취를 하는 경우도 있다.

부동산을 통해 집을 알아보고, 임대 계약을 한다.

자취를 하면 자유로운 생활을 할 수 있는 반면, 식사, 청소, 빨래, 공과금 납부 등을 책임져야 한다.

삶의 질을 유지하려면 열심히 일해야 한다.

Talk about your experience of living by yourself.

 

I lived so far away that I decided to live alone.

These days, real estate apps offer detailed information including photos and costs for home and the expected maintenance fees.

I was able to see lots of homes that fit my need without having to visit a realtor.

I found an apartment that fit the bill and signed a lease.

I especially liked the security of the house, and it was in a prime location.

The biggest advantage to moving out is the shorter commute.

I don't get as tired now.

I also have more time for self-improvement, including getting some exercise and studying English.

나는 집이 너무 멀어서 자취를 결정하게 되었다.

요즘에는 부동산 앱에서 집의 사진과 금액, 예상 관리비 등의 상세 정보를 제공한다.

그래서 부동산에 방문하지 않고도, 내가 원하는 조건에 맞는 여러 집들을 볼 수가 있었다.

적절한 방을 찾아 임대 계약을 했다. 무엇보다 집의 보안 상태와 위치가 좋았다.

자취를 하고 나서 가장 큰 장점은 출퇴근 시간이 짧아져서 이제는 덜 피곤하다는 점이다.

또한 운동이나 영어 공부 등 자기 계발을 할 여유가 더 많이 생겼다는 점이다.
