While cooking, I often slip up on? cut my fingers/hands/foot.
*slip up 실수하다

A few weeks ago, I was chopping up potatos and I cut myself.
It was a deep cut and it was bleeding like crazy(=a lot).
I disinfected the cut immediately and I put on a bandage.

Anotehr time I picked up a hot pot and burned my hand. 

*burn 데이다
I tightly gripped the handle not aware that it was hot.
Right away I put my hand in cold water and I also applied ice to the burn.
Still, the burn swelled up and I got a blister.

1) like crazy 심하게

People stared at us because we were laughing like crazy.
I worked like crazy to finish on time.

 

2) disinfect 소독하다

If you don't disinfect the cut, you can get infected

I got a blister on my hills 뒷꿈치
I practiced like crazy and I got a blisters on my fingers

Last year, I lost my footing as I was walking down some stairs.

I broke my fall with my hand but my hand got scraped badly and it bled.

I also banged up my rips and they hurt a lot for quite a while.

Also, my knee turned black and blue because I hit it as I fell.

A few years ago, I was riding my bicycle in the park when I hit somehting and tumbled over.

I hurt my arm in the fall.
At the hospital they told me I had a hairline fracture.

I had to wear a cast until the born healed.
It didn't hurt but it was so itchy that it drove me bananas.
*drove someone bananas = really irritate = make someone crazy
When the cast was removed, it felt so good that I was floating on air.

*floating on air 들떠서, 기뻐서 어쩔 줄을 모르고

1) lose one's footing 발을 헛디디
be careful not to lose your footing

2) turn black and blue 멍들다
My eye turned black and blue after the fight.

3) drive someone bananas
That noise is driving me bananas.
