Geographically, the country has many mountains, so there are many ski resorts.
That's why lots of people enjoy skiing and snowboarding in the wintertime.
When the season gets underway in December, many people hit the slopes.

At the slopes, people have to queue up to get on the lifts.
There are many restaurants near the ski resorts.
