In the past, you had to go to a ticket counter at the train station to get tickets) I remember having to stand in line for a long time. Later, you could book tickets for trains online, so I made reservations on computer screens. Smartphones have become the norm since then, and many users get their tickets through ticketing apps. If you type in the departure station and final destination, the app shows you the available times. You can pick out a seat and pay for the ticket right then and there. then you get a mobile boarding pass on your phone. Getting a train ticket these days is hassle-free.
